My name is Emily Renee.    One of my favorite things about Cambodia are my good friends Tita and Lita.  I enjoy playing with them in the water when it rains during the rainy season.Laughing

The first Bible verse I ever memorized is

1 Thess.5:17 "Pray without ceasing."

I really like to hold butterflies

and capture them as a catterpillar, see them form a chrysalis and come out as a pretty butterfly!

butterfly_sm(1).gifI really like having a sister. We have fun picking flowers for mom.I had to put my pet mouse/rat Spotty up for adoption (at Petco) so we could move to Cambodia.  I had trained her from a baby to climb on my shoulder.  She is white with black spots.  For a homeschool event I played the piano with Spotty on my shoulder.Winkfunny_mouse.jpgmouseagent.jpg

I'm praying for Cambodia and hope we adopt another sister there.

Emily's story of a scene in Cambodia:  "  We were in our van when a lady holding a small child came up to us and asked Josh for his soda.  Josh gave her his half- dranken soda.  Then she pointed to his money on the van seat.  Josh gave her one of his Cambodia dollars, Jacobi gave her his fruit snacks and Emily Koch gave her fruit.  She was so happy to get our garbage bag of half-eaten fruit too.  She sat down on the street and sniffed a fruit snack and ate one and smiled."- Emily Renee Smith
